UniStar Nuclear Energy has partnered with Accenture to develop the underlying Knowledge Management system for the fleet of new nuclear energy facilities. Our aim was to apply the most advanced management practices and tools available to optimize performance and value of the enterprise for the individual plant operators and owners.

With the myriad of technical, commercial and regulatory issues inherent in the development, deployment and sixty-year operation of this new fleet, UniStar committed early to utilize Project Lifecycle Information Management (PLIM) practices to modernize and control all aspects associated with these complex projects. This unique PLIM approach to nuclear energy facility development and operation complemented UniStar’s business model architecture.

Additionally the capture, control and optimization of detailed and changing security, information technology, business, technical, and regulatory requirements are paramount. No other company is utilizing a fully integrated, fleet-based, digitized PLIM approach to the entire evolution of a project: from inception, through licensing, detailed design, engineering-procurement-construction (EPC),  Integrated-Testing-Assurance-Acceptance-Certification (ITAAC), operation and decommissioning.

Galaxy is a complete Knowledge Management System for successful nuclear energy deployment.
