Greg Gibson is the President, Chief Executive Officer and Chief Nuclear Officer of UniStar Nuclear Energy. Mr. Gibson is responsible for leading UniStar's efforts to develop and deploy the first new generation of nuclear energy facilities in North America in more than 30 years.
Mr. Gibson brings over 35 years of management experience in nuclear power licensing and regulatory affairs. Mr. Gibson joined UniStar in 2008 as Vice President, Regulatory Affairs, responsible for operations, licensing, environmental affairs, probabilistic risk assessment, security, and emergency preparedness. He joined UniStar from South Texas Project where he managed Regulatory Affairs. Previously, Mr. Gibson held positions within Southern California Edison responsible for managing Compliance and Regulatory Affairs at the San Onofre Nuclear Generating Station. Mr. Gibson also served as a Senior Inspector for the Nuclear Regulatory Commission.
Mr. Gibson holds a Masters of Business Administration degree and a Master of Science degree in E-Commerce from National University in San Diego, and a Bachelor of Science in Physics/Nuclear Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology.
