Alstom logoThe world's No. 1 supplier of nuclear turbine systems, Alstom has installed more than 180 units worldwide, meaning that more than 30 percent of the entire worldwide nuclear installed base uses Alstom equipment. UniStar has contracted with Alstom to supply a minimum of four turbine generators for its fleet of U.S. EPRs. To help support this contract, Alstom constructed a new 350,000-square foot facility at its existing plant site in Chattanooga, Tennessee, creating at least 350 new jobs.

services and outsourcing company. UniStar is working with Accenture to create an information technology (IT) platform to support the life long data needs of a nuclear power plant. The new IT platform - called Galaxy - will transform how future nuclear power plants store and share information during all phases of their 60-year plus lifecycle (from licensing to decommissioning). In addition, Galaxy will enable nuclear plant partners, vendors and customers to more easily share information and thus enhance their ability to meet project work timelines and budgets.
